Legends Training

Strength training, while typically seen as a younger persons’ game has been attributed with numerous health benefits for older adults as well.  It has shown the ability to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and the signs and symptoms of numerous chronic diseases such as heart disease, arthritis, and type 2 diabetes, while also improving sleep and reducing depression.
However, it’s key to ensure that you are moving safely and effectively to ensure you get the most out of your training and avoid the risk of injury. The proper coaching of technique at SPARK will help you maximize your benefits and minimize any potential risks.

Our legends classes are groups of like-minded individuals looking to develop or maintain their strength into older age. Structured just like a regular SPARK class, the trainers are able to tailor exercises to each members’ mobility and strength specifications.
